Introduction:
Nano Al2O3 (L08T) has been widely used in coatings because of its high hardness, high strength, good thermal stability, wear resistance, thermal conductivity, insulation and other excellent properties.
1. Adding nano-Al2O3 active diluent to UV-curable epoxy acrylic coatings can improve the wear resistance and self-repairing ability of the coatings, and increase the hardness of the coatings.
2. UV-curable nano-Al2O3 composite coatings with good adhesion on the surface of PVC plastics. The addition of nano-Al2O3 significantly improved the wear resistance of the coatings, and the coatings still maintained high transparency at a higher filling content.
Many studies have reported that additives containing 1-2% alumina and other hard nanoparticles can significantly improve the scratch resistance and water resistance. This technology has been applied to transparent coatings for automobiles.
3. The hardness, scratch resistance and wear resistance of the coatings can be greatly improved by adding nano-alumina. The wear resistance of the coatings is 2-4 times higher than that of the traditional coatings.
4. Coatings with nano-alumina (L08T) have excellent thermal insulation and insulation properties, which can be widely used in plastics, batteries and electrical machines.
5. Nano-alumina (L08T) wear-resistant coatings can be made into water-based or solvent-based. Transparent coatings containing nano-alumina can be widely used in transparent plastics, highly polished metal surfaces and surfaces of wood and other flat materials to improve wear resistance and service life.

Application and characters:
1. The addition of nano-Al2O3 (VK-L08T) can reinforce the coating to a certain extent, and improve the hardness and wear resistance of the coating. The hardness increases with the increase of the content of the coating.
2. Adding nano-Al2O3 (VK-L08T) can improve the adhesion of the coatings, and reach the maximum when the content is 2%.
3. Adding nano-Al2O3 (VK-L08T) can reduce the volume shrinkage and improve the adhesion between coating and substrate.
4, the thermal stability of the coating increases with the addition of nano Al2O3 (VK-L08T).
Addition: 1-5% is recommended. Users can determine the optimum amount of additions by experimenting with different systems.
